Leadership competency assessment
AssessmentDesk realistically simulates the daily experience of a person in a leadership role. Competency assessment is carried out by observing the participant’s expressed behavior while dealing with typical situations of a leader’s workday.
Virtual desktop
The platform consists of a virtual desktop that includes: an e-mail system, a chat. a calendar and a contact list.
Depending on the skills being assessed, a specific scenario will be proposed to the participant with the necessary stimuli for the expression of the behaviors to be observed.
In addition, to assess interpersonal skills, it’s possibble to integrate, within the same scenario, one ore more interactions with an assessor playing various roles, e.g., coworker, peer, client, etc., can be integrated within the same scenario.
AssessmentDesk is based on a system of timed emails that provide the information needed to understand both the basic data of the scenario and the specific problems against which the participant must propose solutions.
Information is conveyed both through the text of the emails and through attachments such as, for example, spreadsheets, trade magazine articles, etc.
Chat
AssessmentDesk uses a chat system to make the simulation more realistic.
The system tempers the sending of chats from different “players” of the simulated scenario. In addition, The assessor is able to respond to any messages sent by the participant by impersonating the “player” recipient of the message.
Contacts
AssessmentDesk includes an address book with the roles held within the company. This allows the participant to find his/her way around the organizational context in which he/she is working and to have the information needed to send emails and chat messages to the various “players” in the scenario.
Calendar
AssessmentDesk features a calendar, synchronized with the time of the simulation, that provides a complete view of the tasks to be completed. If applicable, includes the links to video calls with the “players” of the interactive simulations.
